An regular issue since 1980, Australia Post is the only postal authority in the British Commonwealth to celebrate the Queen's birthday each year. Two exceptions were made in 2002 and 2003 when the birthday issue was replaced with stamps celebrating the Golden Jubilee of the Queen's Accession and Coronation, respectively.

Issue Information
Traditionally a single stamp, since the Golden Jubilee issues of 2002 and 2003, several of the Queen's Birthday issues have grown to include two stamps, self-adhesive and prestige booklets and sheets of 10.

Gummed Miniature Sheet Stamp
On 7 May this stamp was also issued in a $2.10 miniature sheet for London 2010. The stamp in this miniature sheet is different from the original issue, as a result of having been printed by RA Printing instead of McKellar Renown.

Postal Stationery
The maximum card features an enlarged photograph of the one on the stamp.
